Who would you like to see come back in the AU?

This show as we know has been on screen for the last 12 years. We are expecting a number of DEAD characters to return according to recent comic-con Spoilers. So of this extensive list who would you really love to see come back for another appearance? And of course, list why? And list those characters.

John. I hope before the series is over TPTB can figure out a way to bring JDM back for an episode. Maybe welcoming them home into heaven or someplace nicer.

I would like to see Frank again too.

Nobody. Dabb said in a Comic-Con interview that every person brought back will be different from what we remember because he doesn't do 'nostalgia'. What that really means is that he doesn't do continuity and faithful characterization.

I don't want to see any more characters brought back just so they can be ruined like Mary. I'm already disturbed that Michael, whose return I've been praying for for years, is coming back because Dabb said he'll like be a bad(ish)version of our Michael. What even is the point? Haven't they ruined God's most powerful archangel enough?

Nobody.

For the sound reason you gave, yeah, this is the best answer. Mary was dreadful enough, I can only imagine the endless parade of awful characterizations were Dabb to bring others back in the same vein. He's done enough damage as it is.
