So where do you think Show is going with Mary?

I can't help but think she is going to tie into the Nephelim storyline. I keep coming back to the whole "mother" and "sacrifice" thing they've got going this season. My guess as stupid as it may sound is that in order to "defeat" the Nephelim, Mary sacrifices her relationship with her boys and becomes the "pseudo parent/caretaker" of this extremely powerful being and returns to Heaven or goes off with it permanently. Mary isn't happy here, she feels she doesn't belong. She won't let them kill him as he's just a child. She now has a purpose and this child to raise as its real mother will have died and Lucifer returned to his cage once more. Maybe they will even have Mary initially bond with it thereby truly twisting that knife a little deeper into Sam and Dean. ;). This will of course devastate Sam and Dean but they will understand why she wants to do it as well as the devastation to the world if she doesnt.

I still can't figure out how they plan on letting him (it?) live. They think they have problems powering down Cas all the time in their writings? I got the Demon/Human anti Christ choosing good and making himself scarce but if they try and pull that a second time then I'm going to cry foul. The other thing I can't shake was the reference to the "soul swap" that the warlock was planning to do to Sam to bring his brother back. Have there been other such references this season? I'm just wondering if that will somehow also come into play at the end?

The Baby Mama Drama is my least favorite storyline of the entire series. They need to kill it or cure it as quickly as possible and be done with it.

I haven't got the faintest idea where they are going with Mary. She is such an unlikable character I pretty much don't care. If she is going to end up back in heaven she needs to go soon. If she is going to stay I think England is a great place to raise a kid.

I like Samantha Smith as an actress, but now not so sure with what they are doing to her character. I feel they are painting her out to be someone in a bad light, just like they did with John, and still do with John. Which isn't fair on the boys.

As for Lucifer's child, I can see them doing something similar to this if MARY isn't a long term character. If she is only here for the short-term, they need to tie up her loose ends and get rid. They are milking this demon child for all its worth and the child isn't even born yet. I can see it being a distraction and turning, into a 'Mini Devil' and the boys or Mary eventually will have to kill it. Can you see the boys letting Mary bring up a monster which it technically is? Remember the whole fiasco with Amy Pond and even Madison? I can't help but think this will end up horribly and it won't be pleasant to watch. Sorry for the negativity, but being related to the devil, how can this turn out to be anything but yucky/icky.

As long as I don't have to see her on my screen anymore, I don't care HOW they get rid of her although my preference is death. She brings down EVERY episode she's a part of.

Hopefully toward her fiery death in the finale. I like your mother parallel with Kelly but I saw it as Mary sacrifices her life the way Kelly will probably have to sacrifice hers. I would throw my TV if they have Mary raise the nephilim. That woman needs to take care of her own children, not somebody else's and especially not the child of the archangel who tortured her son, not that she cares who tortures Sam anyway as we've seen on the show.

Not sure how Mary gets involved in the nephilim situation but all I know is that when I see how fiercely Kelly is protecting her Satan baby, I can't help but go, aww, she's already a better mother than Mary. Okay, I'll get off the lawn now lol.

Good points Vee, but in her favor, at this point, she has saved the boys twice already from the Men of Letters when Sam and Dean were both tied up. She also killed the Men of Letters woman who tortured Sam when she was laying into Dean. That is to my knowledge but then to walk out on them both to say she wanted space was a bit sad and tough on the boys when they'd just got her back. Its' swings and roundabouts with me over Mary at the moment. I want to give her the benefit and hope she turns out to be good. But it's not weighing on her side. Raising the Devil's son would be a smack in the teeth I think for either brother. We've already seen Dean is royally pissed with her as is Sam, who is trying to smooth over those cracks even though unsuccessfully.

It will be interesting to see which way this will go....
