shareI believe this show was good, the critics loved and the public... many watched "legally" because in 2005 piracy wasn't fast as today...
For me it's a mystery why they cancelled it being so good and have such response from public...
Today with Falling Skies, Walking Dead and others like this kind of show (not drama only shows) This one could survive, maybe?
Why it was cancelled is because ABC never did a proper job to reach the audience for this show. They did a very poor job at advertising it, and had long breaks between the airing of shows which led to the loss of viewers.

More and more people goes to the movies, and still people think downloading is hurting the entertainment industry, 2015 was the best year ever, they made Domestic $11,- billion, and that only in the U.S. and that in one year.

And it is the same for TV Shows, downloading has nothing to do with a cancellation of a TV show or the cancellation to a sequel of a movie.
Why do people still believe everything the entertainment industry is saying like sheep, that downloading is hurting them, when they cannot know if people would buy the TV show or Movie if they could not download it.
By this very common line of reasoning, put forward by those who like to steal the things they enjoy and blame the big bad entertainment industry for making money, I should be able to steal four or five pairs of shoes every month because under no circumstances would I purchase that many, therefore the shoe manufacturer is not out any money. People work to produce television shows and movies and you believe they should either do so for free because you prefer not to pay or that public opinion should decide when they have made enough money from their work at which point "free" kicks in. I should like to know if you would be willing to let public opinion decide at what point each year you have made enough money and when you should continue doing your work for no pay. You may say that you are by no means making the money that the entertainment industry does but it is a guarantee that if it were put to a vote, virtually all of us would be looking at a pay cut. Stealing is stealing is stealing despite the ever growing popularity of the view that many people, excluding at all times ourselves, should be contributing free stuff cause we happen to want it.
