Quite Possibly the WORST Movie I Have Ever Seen

What a waste of time. I actually had a good feeling about this movie. The two other people in the theatre, both seniors, should have been my first warning. This movie starts out on a weak premise, moves onto an absurd and BORING plot, and ends with me hating not only every character on screen, but hating myself for spending money on this utter garbage. The only laugh in the movie is provided by a stunt that I could probably see for free on You-Tube. Zach Braff, please sign on for as many more seasons of Scrubs as they'll let you, because it's going to take a miracle to recover from The Ex. Can I give less than 1 star for a movie?

We Came, We Saw, We Kicked it's ASS!

don't agree dude. its not the best movie for sure but its good to watch it with the girlfriend or family on the weekend or whatever. good to laugh and you will certainly have a good time watching it.

so dont agree its the worst movie unless you havent watched many movies.

take care

i agree, cliche after cliche. i mean how condescending can a film be? i'm sorry but anyone who enjoyed this abhorrent waste of time is just wrong, either too consumed by their own ego or just plain stupid, they are wrong. it's almost infalable for me to convey my disgust for this movie. manafactured crap. end of.

reply

Okay so what? You didn't like it. Seriously, how many times have you heard the opinions on a movie and totally disagreed with what that critic said. I mean come on, regardless of how ridiculous you found it to be is there any reason to call those who enjoyed it stupid or even say that they are "too consumed by their own ego".

reply

"too consumed by their own ego"??

I'm fascinated how you got to that statement, smallbrownbike. Why would people who like the film be consumed by their own ego?

..I've thought about it and it still makes no sense...

Personally I thought the film was OK- not good but a passable waste of a couple of hours.

"it's almost infalable for me to convey my disgust for this movie."

"just plain stupid"

reply

Actually I thought it defied the cliches except for Bateman's character not turning out to be disabled. Every time I thought I could see what was about to happen the movie took a less funny and more nonsensical route. You seem like kind of an idiot.
And really? Abhorrent? I barely enjoyed this movie but it was just.. bland. I couldn't understand the character motivations and it seemed disjointed (perhaps seeing the unedited version would help) but that made me give a 5 star rating, aka *not good, not terrible - forgettable*
My mother bought this for £1.50 in CeX, a second-hand store, and I borrowed it - personally I'd pay 20p for it. Does the fact that I'm willing to pay 20 whole pennies to own this film mean that I'm consumed by my own ego?
You keep on being... what? Inflammable? Infallible? Ineffable?
You clearly used spell-check for "condescending" and "abhorrent" because you go on to prove that you can't spell for *beep* which would be fine if you weren't trying to use long words to criticise an artistic project.

It's not interesting enough to be one of the worst films ever. It's just annoying, unfunny and begins to get pretty boring about halfway through because of all the cliches.

reply

Awww... but he sure made a cute Chicken Little :-(

But how could a movie with Charles Grodin in it be BAD?

Sigh.
I highly doubt that this is the worst movie you have ever seen.
I admit I found it's comedy too generic for my tastes and I had higher expectations, being a Zach Braff fan, and I was a little disappointed.
However, I chalk it up to my humor being different from the humor in the movie.

None of the characters are likable. Were we supposed to like Tom? He seemed like a bit of an ass from the beginning to me.

reply

heard it all before, your complaints are no more original and inspiring than the movie you claim to hate.
personally, i got more entertainment from the movie.
all youve done is given the same arguement u see everywhere else on here, and added your own stupid name at the top.

Damn!! My posts attract so many nutty B-A-S-T-A-R-D-S!

I laughed... once. Gosh, just terrible.

It is the worst film ever, There are not words strong enough to describe how bad it is.

reply

in jd's words: LAME!
braff is far too ugly to ride the romcom train as it seems he's trying to. he should stick to indie movies.

Not the best movie ever, by a long shot, but not the worst either.
And if it's the worst you've seen, you've not been watching enough movies, dude.
