Best superhero movie I've seen.

It was simply amazing, had a far more realistic touch. The acting was great, the atmosphere was was great and the 3d effect was awesome all the way through.

I had my doubts when I went to see this but it's easily Marvel's best superhero movie.

10/10 from me.

I wonder if the OP still feels this way after the great films Marvel put out in 2012/2013?

reply

Realistic?

Like zipping down a cable faster than a speeding train, landing easily, then walking upright against the wind doing 80mph?

In the world I live in, this film wasn't realistic at all, even by superhero standards.

But I would love to visit your world sometime.

I finally saw the DVD a couple of days ago and really enjoyed it. One of the things I like best is that the characters are all adults. They didn't bicker or make snarky comments or act like brats. Even the little boy who fell in the water said he could swim, saving himself and letting Cap go after the bad guy.

Saw this again on TV on Oscar night. It was the perfect thing to flip to as the Oscar telecast started to drag or they broke in to awful songs.

I wonder what gaz_111 thought of The Winter Soldier?

You know they loved it!

This movie stands above any other comic book film because it combines all the elements that make a film great. It’s smart, well written, shot flawlessly with the best action imaginable, has superb performances, top notch effects and plot twists and turns that keep a viewer guessing and on the edge of the seat.

That's what!

The cinematography was beautiful and the colors almost seemed alive, they were so vibrant. I don't see many movies where the colors make that much of an impact. I didn't find the dialogue corny or forced.

Hayley Atwell makes everyone say "HOLY CRAP".

Better than buttered bread and not as fatty!

Pinch me because adding Civil War to the trilogy mix means Cap will hold the title as best trilogy starting in 2016 and maybe lasting forever.

It's best not to think of Tony Stark as any kind of bad guy.

They sure are portraying Howard Stark as a real tool on the Agent Carter Mini-Series, however.

Howard saved faced in the finale!

Still holds as a near perfect origin film.
