Does George know what he is doing ?

Please anyone, how long do you think this guy is gonna last on this so-called show ?

Strombo is probably one of the better interviewers out there.
His biggest strength is that he is able to make any interview interesting regardless if the guest is a big celebrity or not - not an easy thing to do.
Audiences want to see famous actors or musicians, but George can interview an unkown documentary filmmaker, and make it interesting. Also, like Craig Ferguson, he doesn't conduct his interviews according to the "blue card", giving the show a much more organic feel. Strombo also has a quality similar to Dick Cavette, in that guest typically like and trust him, so they end up giving a good interview.

I think he is an amazing interviewer. His interviews come off as 2 people chatting which gives a really organic quality to what the interviewee says. I gotta say I do not miss the lack of "How did you like working with so-and-so?" and "Set up this clip for me?" style and I love the bio intros.

Plus, I love that I can watch interviews with actors, musicians, politicians, economists, activists, etc who are Canadian as well as foreign.
