Not bad!

I couldn’t find my review or rating for this but know I’ve seen it before. Anyways, it quickly won me over again with its sumptuous looks, abundant decorations and profusion of kills (my favourite: hockey skate to the head!). Not the best gore, not the most original story, no memorable quotes, lots of screaming, took itself a bit too seriously and the acting was generally mediocre but it managed to satisfy me as a Christmas/horror flick. Plus they did not fall for the “too many cheap jump scares” trap and I appreciate that. There were a lot of eyes though. A lot! My rating: 6.5/10
