Coziest horror movie ever.

While this movie is pale in comparison to the original, and campy even by today's slasher standards, it has one thing going for it - it's COZY. The atmosphere and sets are unbelievably warm and comfortable, and the Christmastime setting makes it even better - I mean, seriously, who would not want to be in that house on a cold, snowy December evening? Minus the whole serial killers in the attic thing, though ;)

I know! Doesn't it put you in the Christmas mood? I'll definitely have to watch in on Dec. 24th! :D

(BTW it's a guilty pleasure, but I do love the original too)

Makes me want to snuggle up on the Couch with Melissa in one arm and Dana in the other.

For sure! Bundled up on the couch under a blanket. Fire going. Christmas lights on for ambience. Only way to watch it!

It's candy-color lighting and warm interior does contrast well against the snowy cold exterior. Genuinely a superbly lit film.
