Who else thinks that this movie deserves a hell of alot more than a 4.5??

Yes and no, the film is neither good or bad. Average movie deserve a five and this is more or less the rating it got here.
shareI say a 10 cause I really enjoyed it. It was fun and entertaining. The end was meh but the death scenes were cool.
shareMaybe the ending sucked and it got 4.5 nothing personal or anything, not every movie with cool murders lives up to the potential, a climax and post mortem depress ending is the most annoying thing an audience has to experience. You gave it a ten anyway? You must be a Teen.
I am a fan of the original, and I do like to see the 2006 version, but I will make sure I will have a 30 day money back guarantee if it is trying to be another saw, a movie that went from leadership to copycat, Nah.. just Nah.
Maybe there is a reason why bc 2006 didn't receive much publicity, it turned unoriginal and became a copy which is a unrefreshing yawn

shareI think it deserves a solid 5 on the IMDb scale. It's a fun movie. Absurd, but fun, and very well-shot.
shareI rated a 10 because I LOVE this movie and want it to have a higher number. That being said, I get why people think it should be 5. I think it's more of a 8. Its fun, gory, BEAUTIFUL cinematography, great cast, racey storyline. Not many cool horror christmas movies out there like this one! I know it's a "re-make", and I own the original too.... but it's like someone else said, a companion to the original. I love this movie. Its Christmas morning 4am, I'm finishing up some very late wrapping, and I watched Home Alone, Elf, and now Black Christmas. :P The cast is just so awesome. We're just missing a bit of Character development for most.
