Fact: It is not the first film to use real dead bodies

There are more than one, but for fact they used real dead bodies/skeletons while filming poltergiest

I studied medicine and personally dissected dead bodies. And let me tell you - the first time we saw a cadaver we were all quite shocked, because a cadaver looks more like a barbie doll than a living person. IT's weird, but the skin gets a strange plasticky colour and texture. I haven't seen this movie, but from all the fake cadavers I've seen in movies and series, EVERY SINGLE ONE looked more "realistic" than the real cadaver.

the original chainsaw massacre used real skelton bodies.

Indeed, and Jurassic Park used real dinosaurs....

Ok, I cannot comment on the use of real bodies skeletons in Unrest, Poltergeist, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, or anything else mentioned. I can, however, comment on the use of real bodies in a foreign film. Much like the child's cadaver in Men Behind The Sun was real, the scene in Thriller: A Cruel Picture (or, They Call Her One Eye, depending on the version you watch) the scene where the female protagonist is blinded in one eye by her captor with a scalpel, and there is a close up of the scalpel slicing the eyeball? That was a real cadaver, confirmed by producers, director, and stars. So...interesting question now arises.....Japan and Sweden: Real cadavers ok. America: Not so much? Hmmmmm.
Damn prudish Americans.

this thread needs a post reading "LOL," and then it needs to be locked. btw, in jurassic park, only some of the dinosaurs were real, the t-rex was FAKE

I saw that in the trivia, too. There really is no filter on what people can write, here. I've seen some pretty ridiculous false trivia (and some really pointless trivia, as well), but that was one of the more blatantly stupid ones I've seen in a while. IMDB needs a "report as false" option.

After that they can install the mandatory IQ testing for synopses writers.

Movies are IQ tests. The IMDB boards are each person's opportunity to broadcast their score.
