Casting Eric Bana was a bad idea

Zero charisma. Close to no talent. Not a likeable character (at least not when he portrays him) and not convincing for the most part.

I could also rant about the writing/directing, but the acting was dull, mostly by Bana.

I wouldn't whining about him as a casting choice, but I would have cast someone else.

There's a current stereotype that women have been taught to think what they must have to be happy. Bana is that stereotype that's selling now days. He doesn't add anything so that every woman can project their need, desire or lack onto him. Plenty that one can focus on to distract one from actually seeing this movie as a movie. I mean, would some rather critique or rant about any movie than to just show up to be there watching it without some agenda to disassociate from the thing itself? Who needs drugs or a bad childhood to trip out, huh, when you have WHATEVER in a movie? No right or wrong - just my perspective. And I'm sure there'd be plenty of those who would agree about that or any critique. Fine.

I disagree. He was amazing in the movie, very attractive and charismatic.
