While the movie will probably follow the comics, I don't know them, the trailer made me sick to my stomach. First world war was dark and especially brutal. Naked chick running around, rebutting bullets ... oh, my.
Get over it. It is a superhero movie. During the bloodiest war in history; WW2, there were comics about superheroes fighting in the war. They weren't offended then, so you shouldn't be offended about a comicbook character fighting in a war that happened 100 years ago.
yeah, this movie will romanticize war, showing it's ok for men to die; men are like expendable rats, whose lives mean nothing, yet we will see a female lead with superpowers killing infinite number of men: Feminazi agenda, men , stay away from this misandrist film
One* might even say that it is rhetorically proximate to justification for more war which makes me quiver and in danger of spilling my hemp latte on my safe-space kitten lithograph collection. Oh dearie dear me.
* I apologize for using the word "one", which is rhetorically proximate to suggesting individuality. I also beg pardon for the use of "I" and "me" in any of the above writings. Language has yet to evolve to a more socially sensitive stratum.
