Other movies he's done terrible renditions of 'accents' (see The Departed), but I think this one takes the cake. After watching for fifteen minutes I shut it down & threw on 'Pocket Ninjas' instead. His accent was terrible in this movie, even my brother agrees.

shareSeriously, do you even know how they speak English in Zimbabwe? I´ve lived in South Africa (were they have the same accent) and I was really surprised how well DiCaprio pulled this off. To my ears it was perfect. And my cousin agrees with me, so there.

I don't get why it bothers so many people when accents aren't 100% accurate. I've never heard a swedish accent made even remotely right in a non swedish film (yes this includes the US dragon tattoo) but that still has never bothered me.
