'Call in the "Dakadak"'

I just watched it & while I found myself of mixed opinion, I was impressed by what looks like an honest to goodness Mi24 gunship. I presume that's what Archer was referring to as the 'Dakadak'; Still what that gunship appeared on the horizon like an evil dragonfly my thoughts were 'Oh, *beep* Hell is coming to breakfast'.

Why can't you wretched prey creatures understand that the Universe doesn't owe you anything!?

I'm not an expert on Soviet Attack Helicopters, but I would surmise that due to Coatzee's history with SADF and the 32 batallion, that it would be a South African variant of a Soviet design.

Anybody know for sure?

It IS a SA modified 'Super-Hind' borrowed from the Angolan government.
