COMPLETELY REMAKE THE MOVIE ACCORDING TO THE BOOK

Okay so i am an avid reader and i really love it when some of my favorite books get turned into movies, but it pains me deeply when the filmmakers absolutely SLAUGHTER the book like they did when they turned Eragon from page to film. I especially DESPISE the scene where Eragon is teaching Saphira to fly and up she goes and wham-bam-thank-you-ma'am now shes full grown, wtf is that all about?? they could have just cut to darkness thrown up some words and then had her land and be bigger... and that's not even all of my beef with this film.
Another beef is that Eragon finds Saphira's "stone/egg" in the late fall and the egg hatches shortly after the first snowfall of the year, and then the Raz'ac attack perhaps a couple of weeks at most a month and a half after Saphira hatches, again it is still winter, but in the movie its like the height of summer.
This is a minor one but its a huge deal to, Ayra's hair is supposed to be black on page, and the filmmakers, i guess must've decided that she would look better as a strawberry blond. I'm sorry but she doesn't at all. Does it really cost that much money to dye your hair black? It does grow out, and there are now ways to remove black dye, hell they could have even done a temporary dye for the actress.
And when the filmmakers tried to depict Farthen'Dur the giant hollow volcano, EPIC FAIL.
The filmmakers did so poorly in this film that there is now no way for the second book to be put to film, or the third book or now the fourth book that is coming out soon. and i would dearly love to see the entirety of the books on the big screen, but not if they are as crappy as this film.
I say that Chris Paloni should just toss this film out the window of a speeding car and work out a better deal with the filmmakers for a more exact doing of his books, and he should take a more direct part in the making/writing of this film, i mean hes the guy with the best idea of how all this stuff should look.
These filmmakers BUTCHERED the book, and its a damn shame, the books were wonderfully written and exceptional works of fantasy and for the right director would have made multibillions of dollars for cast, crew, author, publisher and all concerened. but because this one got butchered there is a dying intrest in this wonderful series.

They need to redo the whole movie. for Arya's hair she dyed it of gotten a black wig. casting should but more thought in ppl to put in Roles and what they described in the book. they did a spot on job in HP and Lord of Rings. they had Paloni help with script and everything else

Seriously? You think the movie would have been any less of a turkey if they had changed hair colors, seasons and used cut to black when the dragon grew up?!

Two words; Peter Jackson.

Hear, hear. It takes modification to adapt a novel, especially one as thick as Eragon, but, as with the more recent Percy Jackson adaptations, using the book as a mere touchstone is a surefire fail.

Could have been really great.
But first of all Ed Speleers didn't have any chops. If you can't care about the main protagonist, the movies fails, and Ed didn't sell anything. You just don't care about him, and without that the whole thing falls flat. Don't know if it's the failure of the script, or a failure to execute it, but it fails. Think LOTR without Elijah, HP without Radcliffe (well, ok, others could have carried that I guess, but eventually the acting surpassed the cuteness:)

This movie was an insult to an amazing book series...

he sold the rights to film adaptions of this film/franchise. Which as we can see has failed miserable. So now its a legal thing even if someone wanted to do all 4 books since they would have to buy the rights from these asses who already lost from making this movie.... So if someone wanted to make this movie they would have to first pay the debt off(the financing producers want their money) then start making the movie with a *beep* up budget. Basically when watching Eragon(read books) i had the inkling like their sole purpose was to kill the theatrical debut so they didn't have to make any more movies, that's how bad the adaption was.
