90's feel

This isn't a detriment to the movie. The script is very similar to movies like Star Kid, The Mask, blank man, batman forever, steel, etc...

Things it does right:
The kids ate capable and adaptive
The Foster Parents aren't idiots or bad guys
The villian has motive prior to his power
The city is a character in itself
Zachary Levi does a good job acting like a kid in superhero form.

I'm not a fan of this (first viewing), but I could definitely see a 10 year old version of myself being a fan.
