go figure vs ice princess
which do u think is better?
sharei've only seen ice princess once, and go figure twice but either way i think that "ice Princess" was a better movie. The script in go figure was kind of "chessy" i think, and it isnt a terrible movie, but it wasnt one of my favorites...

I have slammed many a revolving door.
shareI have them both. Being a figure skater, I found it hard to decide which skating film is the best. Then again, when I watch ice princess, I watch the whole thing, maybe repeat some scenes. But when I watch Go Figure, I fast forward most of the movie because there isn't much skating. So, I reckon Ice Princess is better. Also, about it being impossible to be a crap skater one day and doing triple flips the next, if you were watching hard, you would have seen that it was taking her around a month and she was skating every day, working to get the money for it, and giving everything up to skate. So, it is possible to get that good in a month, and they do teach kids on their first lessons to fall over and get up, I'm 13 and they were teaching me that last year when I learnt to skate. I have given so much up for my skating...but it's worth it. If you want something more than anything, you have to fight for it. I must recall though, in Ice Princess, Zoe Bloch said to Casey that it takes a minimum of 10 days to wear in skates, that could be true if you didn't stop skating, not even for sleep. I have had my skates for nearly 15 months now and they still aren't worn in enough. It depends though on the amount of time you skate. I skate for 3 hours once a week, so that's probably why. Anyway, I'm writing on so I'm gonna go now,

Wow. If so many people like Go Figure more than Ice Princess, Ice Princess must be a horrible movie.
shareI think it's almost the same movie. (Take note: almost.)
But I have to choose Go Figure because of the way it sheds light on female hockey players. I'm not one myself but I think it's nicer to have a different view on girls ice skating as hockey players than just the dancing twirling ice princesses.
So yeah.
I liked Ice Princess more coz it was:
1)more realistic
2)Made me less cynical
3)Showed dat her mum dint support her so struk a few chords wid me

Well niether film was realistic but I guess when it comes down to the two of them... Ice Princess sadly was the more real one LOL.
