Middle Aged non-geek fans?

Sorry if my post is offensive to some but I'm wondering if there are any middle-aged people who liked this movie.
I'm in my 30s and as far from being tech-savvy/gamer/geek as it gets, and for some reason I liked it to the point of obsession. I kept thinking if I saw this when I was a teen I would have bought the movie poster, paraphernalia and everything else related to the movie.
Am I alone?

I just had my 43rd birthday earlier this week, and I saw it in the theater when I was 38. I wouldn't call myself a non-geek, though, because a big part of the reason I enjoyed this film was because I loved all the old-school video game bits throughout. Oh, and I was the frontman of a local band back in the 90s; though we mostly did covers, I had a hand in writing an original song or two...

I was 42 when it came out and loved it. I watch it regularly still. I read the books about 3 years later and still enjoy the film. It was visually appealing & I loved the pairing of reality with the video gaming & superhero script. Simply stated it was a love story. A very out there approach, but I enjoyed it for it's take on a love story.
I also highly recommend reading the books. The movie was crammed to fit in as best they could 6 books. There is more to the story by reading that will truly make you appreciate the world of Scott Pilgram.

I'm 65 and definitely not a "geek" (whatever that is) but I LOVE this film! It's fresh, funny, different, well written and has a great score. In short, it ROCKS!

I'm 60 and loved this film for all the reasons you aptly described! I see a ton of films so they all know me at the theater. They gave me th e big cardboard cutout display for Scott Pilgrim that was in the lobby.

I would have loved to have that poster in my room. May be if I was in college, I would have definitely bought a poster. Its sad, I feel Im too old for it now! But the movie is great, I watch it every now and then

I have three sons who would qualify as geeks but I was the one who loved this movie and I am 65. Maybe it takes some life experience to look back on the times of our early 20's and laugh at it?

I'm even older than the OP, and not a gamer or tech-geek at all, and I loved this movie.

Just saw it on TV. I'm over 50 and detest video games. However, I understand most of the references. I think it is a fresh and innovative film and I enjoyed it. I thought Knives Chau was the hottest character (okay, settle down. Ms Wong was 25 when the film came out...).
