I just watched it

The movie is funny, not as the second or even the first but it's funny.
Not recomended for the people of USA or at least not for people that cannot understand a joke.
It's a movie for spanish people, people outside Spain will find it not very funny and sometimes boring, and they will not understand the jokes.

I recommend it.

Con dos cojones!!! Unas pajillas?

More opinions!

Please!!!

I couldnt see it because I´m in the U.S. Still I feel part 1 and 2 are quite differente. Is this more similar to part 2 or 1?

reply

More similar to part 2, but the rest of the cast are not as funny as Gabino Diego was.

When Torrente speaks there is a chance that a joke is coming, this does not happen with the rest :(

Sucked as hell... Never though I was going to watch a piece of crap that could battle with Borjamari and Pocholo...

The one was ok, even funny. The second one was still ok!

This third one sucked as hell.

I think that this franchise has reached a point in which you can't compare anymore. I don't know if it was better or worse than the previous ones, but I laughted a lot. I only can comment this movie as a whole:

PROS:

- Very funny.
- Very provocative (the beginning...).
- The action scenes were well done.
- Explains the origin of the "pajillas" tagline!
- Knowing Segura, the DVD will be funnier.

CONS:

- It's very filthy . This is Torrente, and filthiness is an usual subject in the series, but I saw kids in the cinema...
- I found the character "Josito" very similar to "Cuco", Gabino Diego in the second part.
- The story feels a bit disjointed, but who cares?
- It's true that certain jokes will be impossible to understand to foreign viewers (the "valle de los caidos" scene, the surprise appearence of...god?).

If you saw the previous two movies, it's a must-see. If you didn't, why are you reading this?

All three Torrente movies are cult classic in Hungary....great films indeed.

This is not the BEST of, until now, three movies BUT it still has a lot of good, old, European humor in it!
Don't know about the "Spanish jokes" but it is still funnier than any USA-made comedy in the last 25 years!

reply

Yes, mainly because we have a great voice actor for Torrente who makes this movie much better.
