Who else solved the movie's twist, Before the film ended??

Anyone??

reply

Nope, the end caught me by surprise. But I wasn't paying full attention to the film in the second half.

the thing is, there are many clues for the twist. however, until the end i felt the movie could have many different endings, that all match the clues. at one point, i even thought he was dead too (you never know whether some ghostly forces will join the movie)...
my point is, if you just assumed (or guessed) she is alive because of love story and happy ending, and waited for the twist to reveal completely, then you didnt really figure out whats happening (correct me if i am wrong there). hunches and conclusions are not the same thing.

I didn't even consider it a mystery, it was all pretty obvious to me throughout and I was just sitting around waiting for the movie to play itself out.

The movie was well-acted and visually lovely in spots, but was rather lifeless and straight-forward and obvious. It didn't really engage me, nor was there much to try to figure out.

Nope. I was like "holy christ!" when I saw the twist. It came from a while away.

IMDB's Overrated:
"I didn't like it, but everybody else liked it, so it makes me really mad."

I was actually fooled by the big gaping wound in her neck when they were inspecting her body. Thought she was dead.

so how did he do the ghostly apparitions. I don't understand that.

It's funny how people make a wild guess and then pat themselves on the back for "solving" something when it's anywhere in the ballpark.

I knew she had to be alive somehow otherwise the film would had ended with her death. I was trying to figure out how he managed to get her to look like a corpse and I did not anticipate him using the police constable to corner the Prince in to committing suicide.

I knew that he had somehow faked her death, but I didn't understand the end game until later.
