At the end of season six (possible spoiler alert)

At the end of season 6 ...

When Nancy decides to invoke "Plan C", why didn't she just start making a scene when she came out of the ladies' room? Of course, that isn't as dramatic as the actually finale.

Any comment on how she only received a three year sentence for murder?

Nancy was going to jail anyway for all her drug delaings. One would have thought that Esteban would seek revenge by showing the video of Pilar's murder.

Doug flies back to California to try and get his passport from his ex-wife. As far as we can see, he is not successful. How did he get to Copenhagen for the season 7 opener?

I think Plan C involved Andy calling the authorities and them catching Nancy (and in turn, Esteban) on the sly. Had she made a scene, Esteban and Guillermo could have easily made a break for it and came back for Nancy at a later time or put a hit on her in prison.

I think self-defense was a big part of it. However, Nancy was let out early because Esteban was murdered and she was no longer seen as in danger. I think a big part of her sentence was keeping her safe, away from Esteban and his workers.

Nancy went to prison for killing Pilar (taking the fall for Shane), not for selling drugs. I could see Esteban showing the tape and letting Shane go to prison, but what good would that really do him? With Nancy locked up, Esteban knew she would be miserable/away from her family/not able to move on with her life.

I don't think it is mentioned how he is in Copenhagen, but it can be assumed he either got the passport or applied for a new one and flew over after getting it. It's not specified how much longer the rest of the gang has been in Copenhagen at the beginning of seven, so we really don't know.

(Hope this helped, though some of it is speculation and not concrete fact.)

Copenhagen is mentioned in the last episode of season 6, so I assumed they were heading for Copenhagen (via Paris) as Nancy was being arrested.

Also a trivia note: in the first episode of season 7, a bus picks up Nancy in Danbury, CT. The bus is seen entering Manhattan from Queens (not Connecticut). The bus drops Nancy off on East MLK Boulevard in Harlem with the 125th street elevated station in the background. Nancy tells her sister she's in Washington Heights, which is four miles away.

My bad; what I meant was that it's not specified how much longer the rest of the group has been in Copenhagen than Doug. They left without him, and it's unclear how long it took him to get his stuff together and meet them there.

She testified against Esteban. That's how they were able to imprison him. That's why she was safe once he died.
