Elvis' voice was far superior to any/all of the Beatles but i think this is an apples and oranges question.
Elvis sang, with the voice of and angel, material that was written by others - and a great variety of others at that.
The Beatles wrote their own music, for the most part, and belong to the Singer/Songwriter tradition.

First of all this don't make sense.
So it is the old age pensioners versus a long-living Legend, who's been dead of 31 years, how do we vote? which half-dead old man flogs the dead guy? This is ridiculous. If it's The Rolling Stones Vs the Beatles - then this is a war of Old men with free travel Bus passes who were in A BAND.

Okay! So you want to know my opinion who wins?
I HATE...I repeat I HATE The Beatles, never liked them and I never will.
Their Music is hard to listen to, and they are not my style. they made 250 million sold copies. If other people like the Beatles - well good for you then! But I don't give a crap about Men that make sh*t music and that passed their cell-by-date.

Elvis will be The King - his Music - sold one billion copies as most successful Artist - and I can't remember which cretineous pr*ck on this thread said he is not an Artist ( and only Beatles are Artists) and not knowing the Definition - because if you can understand the influence and the power of music and dance - also breaking down Racial issues and Puritan attitudes. Artists are the most successful innovators that change the world - that that is what Elvis had done.
His Voice, his performance, staggering good looks can not be denied. Elvis inspired John Lennon, Jim Morrison, and admired by Led Zepplin - and made Rock and Metal Music, a new Genre to be possible and enter the mainstream.
So Elvis is number one.
