... the worst movie I have ever seen. How someone can create something like this and not know it's absolute rubbish in the process is beyond me.
My girlfriend and her friends seem to enjoy looking for bad horror movies, and this movie is why I will try to avoid them when they're in a group and have access to a DVD player.

Exactly. Half the movies I own were totally bashed on this site, but I loved them, hence why I bought them. People should watch movies of their ownaccord then come on here once it is done to discuss it. Not watching a movie because someone else didn't like it is the stupidest reason!

There are so many movies that are by far worse then demon hunter. I rented it expecting it to suck based on user comments here and the fact that it's a B-Movie. I gave it a chance, and although I cant say that its a good movie, it is however an average one. Not nearly as terrible as some people would have you believe.

actually, there's some pretty good fight scenes in this film, and the intro is fantastic , not to mention the song on the opening credits... you're forgetting, this is a low budget film... for the money and the time restrictions they had, it's a pretty good film.
shareI thought this film was an entertaining piece of low-budget horror/action trash. Sean Patrick Flanery made for a nicely edgy anti-hero and Billy Drago as usual does well in one of his standard reptilian villain roles.

My point was why go somewhere to trash a movie if you hate it then just don't watch it again. But all your doing is letting a movie you don't like take up more of your time. Which in my opinion makes you kinda sad. If you hate it fine but my point was it's rude to the people who do like it and um for people who were all people can have their opinions this is mine like it or lump it makes no never mind to me.

Wow! I guess I'm the odd man out. I actually liked this movie. I read up on the plot thought it was interesting, saw that it was low budget film which made me a bit hesitant, read critiques and thought wow this can't be good. Still, I had nothing else to do so I said, eh, what the hell. I was surprised by how much I enjoyed it. The main character is pretty likeable. He's not the stereotypical half-breed, which I enjoyed. I love Drago as Asmodeus. He just seems to fit the bill so well. Compare this with other movies with similar resources and it's probably one of the best. So give it a chance.

Maybe people would actually like to know how much this piece of *beep* movie sucked and not waste 2 hours watching it. Hmmm 30 seconds to type a post to save someone two hours of their life seems like a good trade-off...wish I had come here before I watched it.

i myself personality thought this was a good movie now people who grew up on Friday the 13th or nightmare on elm street might disagree but you have to remember low budget i mean for the amount of money and time they had i believe they put together a great movie

Hey - I grew up on Friday the 13th! lol...and I don't think this was too bad. My Girlfriend rented this because she thought it was more softcore porn then it was and she has a thing for Nancy Yoon. So it kinda let us down in that respect since it really wasn't softcore even though it seemed that it wanted to be. But overall it wasn't a bad film - especially for the budget. It did have some funny moments for example when the succubus sprouted those wings and flew away...she did look pretty funny and of course when she possessed the body of the dead hollywood agent Marty Fields. That was hysterical watching a gutted male corpse speak with a chick's voice but it seemed like a decent balance between some action, some sexiness, some horror and a little humor. All in all not a bad film. Except my girlfriend wished they had shown more of Nancy Yoon's boobs....

shareI thought it well was written. Make up and effects were good. Acting, most of it was very poor. Definitely better then most horror B movies. A decent story has it beat out many "A" movies.
