Its not referenced in Connections, and someone is a stabbed a bunch of times and tossed over the railing. Is it Bad Boys (1983) or Blood in Blood Out (1993)? It had a bit of a Scarfacey vibe.

I re-watched the movie yesterday, and i'm wondering what that movie was too.

American Me (1992)
Paul Rudd's character watches the stabbing at the end of this film.

That whole film is bleak. Really captures the spirit of the story and the tragic life of young chicano gangs at that time.
