Simply Irresistible or Sububan girl?

Which one of SMG's romantic comedies do you prefer?

Simply irresistible or Suburban Girl?

reply

simply irresistable

Simply Irresistible wins my vote hands down. Suburban Girl did not work for me at all. I agree with Robin Cook's comments. Bad casting and unbelievable performances plus those awful clothes they dressed her in... egads!

reply

Simply Irresistible.

I had high hopes for Suburban Girl since I love the Melissa Bank book, "The Girls Guide to Hunting and Fishing", but I was so bored. I had to fight with myself to watch it to the end.

Are you serious? I mean SI had a magic crabb in it????

SI is sweet, but I loved Sarah's and Alec's performance in SG. Rewatch SG and you will defintitely apppreciate it more.

Nobody Rocks The Cock like KRYSTA NOW- starring *Sarah Michelle Gellar*

As much as I loved Suburban Girl, my vote goes to Simply Irresistible.. I love everything about this film. ^^

Shake your derrière in them Deréon.

Simply Irresistible is my favourite romantic comedy

Im a pimp... and pimps dont commit suicide

Suburban Girl - more real than a magical crab???

Wow, I preferred this one so much more. SI was just a fluffy forgettable film, whereas I think this one was very good. It was witty, intelligent, and believable. They addressed the issues of that kind of relationship while also clearly demonstrating why he fell for her and vice versa. I love SMG but I doubt I would watch SI again whereas I loved Suburban Girl.

Im gonna have to say Suburban girl

I didn't like the book. But I liked the movie. Go figure. :/ I liked SI, but the music is so annoying. SG was a better made film. But I think it's also a very Chick film. Going to be hard press to find a guy that likes the movie a lot. I prefer SG.

simply irresistible
definitely

suburban girl had me wanting to hit the "eject" button on my dvd player.

Tie.

And Sarah has better hair in this movie.

reply

except the wig at the start.

I liked Simply Irresistible alot more, magical crab and everything else.

reply

Sorry, I thought they were both boring. There's like no chemistry between SMG and AB.

Totally agree with this!!!! And I think SMG and Alec had great chemistry.

I liked Simply Irresistible so much that I watched it a second time. It really isn't fair to say that I preferred it to Suburban Girl, when I don't think I'll make it past the first half hour of SG. It's the chemistry think, I sincerely doubt that there is any chemistry between SMG and AB. I can see that SMG is trying to create some chemistry, but I can't see AB making any attempt. I am a fan of Alec, and I know he can have act rings around anyone else, and I have seen him in love scenes before, he just isn't doing it in this one. Is it his decision, or is it just unconscious that he knows the two of them don''t belong together, that he just isn't trying.

I may stick it out to look at SMG's clothes in this movie, bcuz what I've seen so far, I like!

I'm going to have to say Suburban Girl. I always found Simply Irresistible too cheesy and ridiculous. Or maybe I'm biased because Suburban Girl reminds me of the relationship i'm currently in with my older man whom Alec Baldwin reminds me of, hmm.

Simply Irresistible alaways.

Simply Irresistible was terrible and this wasn't really a romantic comedy so... neither.
