This is actually a fun little horror film that goes for the gold and more often than not hits its mark.

Yes it has a moment or two of typical horror movie stupidity, but over all is an entertaining tale of teenagers, real teenagers not card board cut outs of them, caught up in a supernatural circumstance involving voodoo, dead people, and snakes.

I can't highly recommend it; but will say it made me a big fan of Agnes Bruckner!

No. This was a generic, watered down, by the numbers teen horror with a weak plot, weak characters, a weak villain and the kind of badly edited "lets save money on effects" violence you expect to see in tv movies. It has exactly the rating it deserves.

I agree: Awesome Louisiana swamp sets/photography, but prosaic story, uninteresting characters (except the outcast tow truck driver) with too many slasher clichés.
