I don't know if this was already brought up, but I was just wondering if a little boy really approached George Reeves and asked to shoot him to see the bullets bounce off. Did this happen or was this just something they made up for the movie?

I've read from several different sources that yes, this really did happen and that Reeves did handle it as portrayed. Quick thinking on Reeve's part, I'd say!

This was a well known story when I was a child in the 60's.
Doesn't mean it was true. Seems true.
