These people killed over a lousy $1,200 drug debt? A beatdown I get. Slash his car tires? Sure. Steal his car, rob his house? Why not. But murder for a minimal amount of $1,200?

I don't know anything about the real case, so I'm gonna talk about the movie.

Truelove was a wannabe gangsta, so the whole thing happened because he wanted to set an example, that he *beep* up' anyone who owes him money.

So I don't think whether it was $1,200 or $20,000 made a difference, the guy wanted respect and street cred. Then when he faced life in prison, he killed the kid.

That's how I saw it...

That's exactly right. In the movie and the real case. AD is pretty close to what really happened.

2 of my friends were murdered by 3 of my other friends over $90! 18 year old Chris, 17 year old Joey and 16 year old Rodney murdered Robert by shooting him twice in the head when he approached their car after they had pulled into the driveway. Chris ran in the house and shot Kristal 7 times. I was only 16 at the time. 20 years later it still makes me cry and feel very nauseous when I think about it. $90! Wtf

That was one of the most disturbing and sad things I´ve even heard of in the past years....I feel for you.
