Gulager was wrong about Navi
Watching Project Greenlight Season 3 again and Gulager didn't want Navi as Heroine but she was one of the best parts of the film.

I think the main theme of the movie was that anybody could go, at any second, regardless of their role in storyline. Heroine was set up as a decoy protagonist whereas Tuffy's character type usually falls prey to monsters in the early goings. Not with this film.
I personally loved that aspect to this movie. The only thing I would maybe change is limiting the survivors to maybe one or two... four (not even counting Bartender, who clearly died in this film) was a tad bit too much but hey, that's them subverting expectations again I suppose.
