I Loved Dean and Eric!

Honestly, they're two of my favorite horror victims of alltime <3
Very realistic, well acted, and well written. By far my 2 fav. characters of TCM :) Especially Dean! (Taylor Handley's gorgeous too!)

Chrissie and Bailey were great as well, but nowhere near as good as the brothers!

I agree. The victims in this movie weren't annoying or obnoxious at all like I find many horror movie victims are. You could actually care when bad things happened to them.

Well Eric was an Oorah idiot, leading his soft, sissy brother, Dean, into war and likely death, so yea they were great. Especially as lunch meat.

What kind of kid struggles to do 10 pushups? I say "struggles" because you could tell he was struggling, even before the Sheriff started beating him. I guess that baby fat Dean was carrying around, made those pushups harder LOL

They were very good protagonists.

I also find Chrissie to be one of the best final girls of all time. A beautiful woman who did her all to save her friends. She didn't have any 'mary sue' moments, she wasn't irritating and she didn't cause any of the issues (I know that's one critique people have of Erin in the '03 remake, her trying to be a kind person and do the right thing got the lot of them caught up in trouble).

The characterizations in this film are brilliant. You have the despicable Sheriff Hoyt on the other side who is such a hateable bastard. R. Lee Ermey was brilliant in both these films.

One of the finest set of characters in slasher history.
