did anybody actually enjoy this movie?

it is officially the worst movie i have ever seen.

I liked it very much, and have seen it several times. I think John Cusack and Diane Lane had a lot of chemistry. I loved the Stockard Channing character..she is always good, no matter what. I laughed at her saying she and her 15 year old internet boyfriend were "pinned", and again when Diane Lane met her father on an internet hookup date. I guess I am out of sync by NOT thinking she and Dermott had chemistry. I thought it was painful.

The movie was meant to be just a cute movie, nothing more.

I thought it was a decent film but then again I am a dog lover at least to some extent. The worst Cusack film I have ever seen I just saw, Better Off Dead made this film look good. However, I do like a number of Cusack films and I like his sisters as actors as well.

I really enjoyed this movie. It was cute and very funny. If this is the worst movie you've ever seen, you must not have seen many movies in your life, because there's a whole lot worse movies out there.

It's very cute, and I get it because I have a large, intrusive Irish family, and I also actually eat alone, usually standing over the kitchen sink.

not the worst movie, but less than average.

-this movie is VERY predictable.
since the first scene with Jake(John Cusack) i knew he will be with Sarah Nolan(Diane Lane).
-it was also too long.
at first she was with guy number one and after with number two, than again with one and after two and later again with one.
just seems like this movie is trying to stay longer on screen.
-the acting is bad.
i didn't see Sarah as a fragile woman and Bob(Dermot Mulroney) wasnt that bad. bob and Sarah was never really together, she kept showing him she want teacher parent relationship, so she shouldn't hate him.
the actors could do it well, they just didnt try.
but i think John Cusack did well.

the only reason i stayed to the end is because i wanted to know what happened (although it wasn't very interesting).

God, you people are picky. It's not going to make my top 100 or anything, but I found it to be very enjoyable. I've shown it to friends and family, and everyone I've shown it to really liked it.

The first half was good. The second half was bad.
