Thought it would never end - SPOILERS

I like most Woody Allen movies, but this one not so much. After the double murder, it just goes on and on with scene after scene. And the acting is bad, wooden in spots, as if everybody is reading from cue cards. Scarlett's, especially, seems so forced when she's screaming at Rhy Meyers on the street. Maybe that's a result of Woody's penchant for allowing the actors to change their lines, if they feel more comfortable with their own. Also, he says he doesn't like a lot of retakes. He shoots a scene, and if it's not a disaster he goes on to the next one. He's always in a hurry to wrap up the day's work and get out of there, maybe to a Knicks ballgame on TV.
