I think the terrain sets a huge tone for a person like Mick. Put some of the people you mention out in the Australia bush and few are going to win with the available tools Mick has.

I think Dundee is the best bet. He had the sharpshooter skills (evidenced in Dundee 2), hand to hand combat (first film) and knowledge of the bush and how to survive on his own.

All depends where it's being fought. If it was the downtown city I live in, hell I could take Taylor on (know the alleys, streets, bars/clubs, etc.).

He was portrayed as a pretty solid sniper in the movies and considering he had the past job (which seemed pretty true considering his detailed recap) of hunting pigs, water buffalo, etc. from helicopter (have to be a pretty good shot) this is a huge factor. Most of the people you're mentioning are best at hand to hand combat. You'd need another solid rifle shooter at long range and knowledge of the Australian land to take out Mick.

I hate this movie--for a couple of reasons. First, I hate movies that pretend to be "shocked" at the monster they create but are actually glorifying the villain. Devil's Rejects, Texas Chainsaw, whatever--these movies loves their sicko, depraved lunatics and forget some of horror fans like to see the depraved lunatics get some just desserts. Hills Have Eyes? Yeah. Second, movies like this like to tag themselves as nihilistic, and that's a bastardization of the term, but I digress.

I am posting in this specific thread for a reason. Because I'd love for someone to show up in this movie and quickly put an end to Mick Taylor. Sure, Rambo would be great, all the heroes listed (Machete, Michaelle Rodriguez--great choices). But I think its got to be someone who fits in the same universe. So I nominate Erin from You're Next. She is not only capable (but still overmatched in some regards which makes for a good struggle), her biggest strength would be Mick, like everyone else, would disregard her and underestimate her. He wouldn't take her out from a distance, he'd get in close to torture her, which would be a mistake--whereas a cop, or Rambo, or whatever, he'd probably just snipe and not take his chances.
