British actors are way better than American

Thats why i loved this movie. For once someone can actually ACT! I guess this really only applies to kids who try to act. For example, Harry Potter wouldnt have been the same if it were some American kids acting. (Im American by the way)

I'd say your post is stupid, as well. What's wrong with Simon Pegg? To be honest, I'd rather watch a film he's in than a film with Al Pacino any day. By the way, being British or American is not a race, LOL. FYI, like the OP, I'm American, too, and have the same opinion, really. The British do have better actors than we do, in general anyway. For every good American actor, there's at least 3 good British actors.

It doesn't prove my ignorance, at all. It only proves your ignorance. Since you think there aren't as many good British actors as there are good American actors, you are the ignorant one. It shows closemindedness, and that is ignorant. I base my theory of 3 good British actors to 1 good American actor because a good American actor is hard to come by; whereas, good British actors are about a dime a dozen. The US doesn't really have many good actors these days. Right now the UK is producing the cream of the crop. American actors could learn a lot from British ones, you know.

By the way, apparently you didn't see Hot Fuzz or Shaun of the Dead, two superb British comedies. Simon Pegg was excellent in both of them. He was great in quite a bit more, as well, not just Star Trek.

Also, if I were you, I wouldn't be calling people ignorant when you, yourself, think that British or American are races. News flash, they aren't. Calling them races is ignorant, you know.

Actually, basing it on a movie where a child does a good American accent says a lot. You do know how difficult it is for actors to take on different accents for different roles, don't you? Even the best actors need accent coaches to sound as natural as possible. It takes real talent in acting, something so few American actors have, to truly know how to act. British actors have more real talent than American actors. As I said, I could name at least 3 good British actors for every good American actor. Good American actors, these days, are hard to come by.
