I have been going through an asian film craze currentlly and I happened to come across this gem. In short I loved it. SO I was wondering if anybody could suggest me some more of these light-hearted, weird, dreamy, films like these.

Warm Water Under the Red Bridge is less cute, but also surreal and amusing. Kamome Diner isn't surreal, but is similarly refreshing and unabashedly sweet. Both are Japanese.

shareNot Asian but this movie reminded me of Luis Buñuel in some parts, especially the scene in which that weird guy gets beaten up by his secretary. Check out The Discreet Charm of the Bourgeoisie or The Phantom of Liberty.
