Megan was a POW???? Come on !

I'm in Season 14 on Netflix (because I can't find anything better). I'm bothered by what I'm seeing in terms of character and plot. Nothing of interest is happening and what's happening is beyond credibility;Megan comes back after ten years as a POW with perfect brows and hair not even in need of a root touch-up BUT yeah, there's a gaping hole in her abdomen. And she's laughing entirely too much at the silly jokes and humor going around. Gross.
And Owen's emotional reaction to her return and the way he expresses his guilt seems more like the intensity you'd feel for a lover, not a sister. Weird and Gross.
