shareWhy did Marissa have a child if she didn't want to parent him? The whole point of having kids is to be part of their lives. I couldn't imagine going out every night to clubs and lounging around all day, ignoring my child. Jake probably thinks that Princess is his father. You can tell that they have a close bond. It's great that Princess gets to be a parent to Jake, because he clearly loves that boy as if he was his own flesh and blood, but Marissa should play an active part in her son's life, too. Jake has the opportunity to have 3 loving parents. Instead, he has an absent mother, part-time father, and his one true parent is Princess. I hope that the love, encouragement, and support he gets from Princess is enough to overshadow the fact that his Mom and Dad ignore him.

I think you were led to believe what ABC wanted you to believe.
My husband used to travel a lot on business, the first 12 years of Marriage hes always out of town, that's why Princess is here in the first place.
I assure you, I gave birth to Jake, I spoil him, hug him, bring his to his Karate, Gymnastics, and I keep him very active.
If you must know the truth. Princess lives near the Strip and doesn't have a licence. Nor does he drive a car.
I host sleepovers for Jake, He has excellent manners, and we are even getting ready to go to Space Camp in Huntsville AL in a couple days!
I bring my son with me everywhere, hes been all over the USA, and we are always spending our holidays on either a cruise or at a Theme Park resort.
I don't like to do homework with Jake, at all.
That's my weakness, no patience. But my husband and Princess do that.
I am an excellent cook, and clean regularly, I also sell homes for a living!
What you saw was a phase in my life, where I actually WAS going out a lot, but I never ignored Jake, that kid is my world. But they were looking for a good story, that was the only way to get on that show, so I signed away.
I don't blame you for believing what we showed you, its all TV, but yes theres some misconceptions I signed up for and carry

Not to bother yourself that way, we love you girl..no one has any right to be telling how your dressing, and your life as it is..especially that kind of person and her bigotry lying lifestyle..we seen right through her..nothing but judgement issues that family has,.yet they had that big lifestyle before, the big home everything,.then pulling their children to change with their wishes, sure wasn't their kids choice, she's the selfish one..I think they were going broke, why they had to size down.. and this show was a way out,.that's what we were wondering how did she find out about the show when she had no television, and such..what a hypocrite in every way..your awesome beautiful, love from Canada !
