When you think of Spokane, Washington, you think of Seahawks territory. However, to kick off the 1984 season, in week 1 against the Cleveland Browns, KHQ, as in, the NBC affiliate in Spokane, was not allowed to show the Seahawks game, for some reason, leaving the entire city of Spokane and its tons of resident Seahawk fans out in the dark. And to say that there was outrage over this would be putting it lightly.
