Please stop the PG-13-rated posting here...

I'd just like to say, stop it. I'm sick and tired of seeing imdb threads for FAMILY movies that are not suitable for children to scroll through. This has not just been happening in this forum, but at many forums here.

To those who don't seem to know the purpose of "Family" movies, you have no business posting here. "Pooh's Heffalump Movie" is intended for kids (and kids at heart like me). It is NOT a movie intended to please the fans of "South Park".

So, please, lay off. And especially don't bring back stupid threads that moderaters have deleted for good reason.

Thank you.

Last time I looked, the Internet was not regulated by the Patriot Act, or any other censuring organisation. My freedom to say anything I want is mine.

Nothing your children read on this post could be as bad as the crap they watch on TV when you're not there.

Honestly, if you're looking for an informed opinion about a movie, this is the last place you should check. No offense to the fine folks on these boards, but if I'm taking the opinions I find here with anything other than an enormous grain of salt, I'm making a mistake.

That said, it's true that the language in these forums are often not kid friendly. I'm not going to argue whether that's right or wrong. However, I will argue that it's fruitless to complain about it. It's not going to change.
If the language and tone aren't for you, maybe that means you need to find another space on the web to talk and read about movies.

"imdb threads for FAMILY movies that are not suitable for children to scroll through"

Who is to decide what is suitable or not? Are we to go by, for example, the conservative standards of the U.S. and many dictatures in this world or the much more liberal standards of many other countries around (including the ones that consider censorship a threat against freedom of speach and democracy)?

H. Bosch is brilliant. I would try to state the same thing he did, only he has already done it and has done it beautifully.

Yeah, sure you're the board administrator. And Im George W. Bush.
Funny how your status is classed as "User".

Did you have a good world when you died? Good enough to base a movie on?

What a strange turn a thread about a kids film has taken. This movie is about HEFFALUMPS (one really cute one in particular called Lumpy :o) )

I understand people are asserting the right to free speech but why on a thread about HEFFALUMPS?????

This is a wonderful little film and I cannot understand what would lead people to post deep political opinions on a thread about a HEFFALUMP movie. I could appreciate it if it were in a more thought provoking film discussion but why even post on the subject if Heffalumps ain't your thing?

I agree with the user above. Come on, this is JUST a movie. I'm 14 and I just came in here for a review of the movie.Really, all the shrewd comments people make about little G-Rated Films shows just how immature you are. And to think that the majority posting here are adults?!Disguisting. Maybe show some respect to us children at heart. I came here to talk about the movie, to have a decent convo without all this useless banter about how childish it is. And another thing, If you want to post about stupid stuff, don't do it here. I don't care what the rules say, think about the other people here. If you're in a forum about a Heffalump Movie, I would at least expect some decent people here, I wouldn't expect a full thread about how the movie matches up politically. The fact is, children do come in these types of things, it's no stopping that. Just because it says minors under 13 aren't priveledged to enter IT DOESN"T STOP THEM! GEEZ, it sure as heck doesn't stop me. Kids don't care, they'll enter there name and stuff and create an account, no sweat. They sure as hek don't care what IMDb has to say.The Point is, kids are here and since you know they are why not show some respect and keep your vulgar comments out of simple Postings. It's common courtesy!

I know, it's biased, but so is everyone elses. Don't you have something better to do? Geez, I'm 14 and I don't complain half as much as you hoodlins. Ok, maybe in this post, but I'm trying to make a point/ American Society is as degrading as it gets....

WELL I'M GOIN 2 JAPAN DUDES, Peace. Whatever to you guys. Hint, don't raise your kids to be as annoying as you!
