Leather Jacket??

I looked up this movie because I am a huge fan of Jensen Ackles on Supernatural, and wanted to check out some of his "pre-Dean work. I still loved his "Single Man Tear" I have always admired how beautifully he cries...
I was disappointed with the ending, the majority of the movie was good, but it felt like the end was just thrown in there to get it over with.

But did anyone else notice that his brown leather jacket looks almost identical to John Winchester's in the first few seasons of Supernatural??
Anyone know if it's the same one? Or if this was just a coincidence?
