This movie lost all credibility...

...when that old broad with heavy make-up who calls herself Ramtha appeared. All seriousness was lost when she started babbling all her utter nonsense. I bought this film because Marlee Matlin appeared in it, thinking it was a regular movie. All the pseudoscience the people in the film explained was sort of interesting (even if it's simply impossible to swallow for me), until she appeared. It destroyed all sort of credibility the film had tried to establish.

The Columbus ships part was laughable too...

Think of all the silly dupes who pay her thousands of dollars for advice and consulting! It's borderline criminal.

I believe her company/cult was the main financial backers for this project. At least i thought i read that somewhere years back.

reply

HA! That's exactly how I felt! Then at the end when it shows everyone credentials, PhD. here, Harvard there, and her credentials? Zip. None. Simply a cult leader scammer. I'm like, "How can they seriously have this women on here and expect someone with average intelligence take this seriously?" The Columbus ships was complete and utter BS because even you yourself I'm sure have experienced seeing something that you never saw for the first time and it was invisible for you! What a load of crap!

It lost me when everyone was dancing horny wanting to have sex. And the computwr graphics of sex positions......uhm.....ok...

Lol at the ships as well! I dont buy it. I'm not going to be able to watch this one to the end.

What a waste of time

reply

Yep. And even Matlin was annoying as heck in this - just like everyone in it. Either this thing was just terribly directed, or ... oh it's just terrible.

Not being one to throw out the baby with the bath water, it didn't lose all credibility for me, as there were so many people in it, but I've got to agree "Ramtha's" interviews did put me off.

Also agree about the ships. Ridiculous.
