You kind of get that feeling ...that you're alone in the idea that this movie was amusing...huh. Particularly when you read some of the posts on this board. But you aren't alone, because my hubby and i laughed out loud quite often while wathcing this flick. Eugene Levy is one of my fave's so that was a given...but I thiught it was really a cute movie...

I'm not trying to be annoying...it just always works out that way.

I thought it was a hillarious movie, especially the scenes with Eugene's rumbling tummy... HAHAHAHAHAHA I still laugh about that! And to see tough Samuel Jackson, who is soooo tough and has terrible language in 98% of his movies, to be softened a little by a nerdy guy... not to mention taught how to use bad words in a better way... (F...cryinoutloud) I just thought this movie was absolutely hillarious.

I watched this movie at the insistence of a friend and my brother-in-law and I have no regrets. It was absolutely funny, especially the one-liners. But the real gems are in the special features.

hey nisa 19 i just watched this movie and i can't remember a scene where i did not laugh my a$$ of it was great. The team of Samuel L Jackson and Eugene Levy was great they meshed together well and I loved it and anyone who hated it has no idea what a sense of humor is.

You are most certaintly NOT the only one! I haven't laughed so hard at a movie in a long while. I don't why it got such bad reviews. Samuel L. Jackson of course plays the trash-talkin' tough guy like he always does, but in this film, he has to deal with Eugene Levy's character, WHO WON'T SHUTUP! It's very funny and the best parts in the whole movie are the witty one-liners from Samuel. My personal favorite: "Does the phrase, 'No man is an island' ring any bells?" "Does the phrase, 'SHUT YO A** UP' ring any bells?!?!?"

God needed a low rider. We'll miss you, Eddie. Viva La Raza.

I loved it. I thought it was awesome. I just saw it for the first time today and I watched it three times so far with different family members. The only bad thing was that Samuel L. Jackson doesn't play a very good tough guy. Very good movie though. Hilarious.

Not alone, my husband and I were cracking up.
We're major Sam Jackson ans, he likes Levy.... I usually don't care much for the typical Levy charachter but opposite Jackson, it's funny as he11.

Knowing that Jackson has a great sense of humor, I can totally see why he would do this movie.

I saw this film and laughed hysterical! Just as Levy was crazy in Splash, he was a gas Here.

I also wanted him to Pipe down and shut up!

I thought Jackson was great as well. Cool movie..

I haven't met anyone I didn't become friends with

well I just got in on the end of it where they got in the car with the bad guys and Levy said Jackson was his bitch. I laughed til I had tears a couple times just in that short span before the end of the movie so I cant wait to see the entire thing. The elevator nun scene was a killer lmao

This movie was RUBBISH! However, I couldn't help myself from laughing considerably outloud on several occasions. Samuel L. needs to have been stood on screen because his arrogance is just damn annoying and Eugene Levy did a good job of making him his bitch.

I agree I really like this movie. It made me laugh so hard that I had tears in my eyes. They had the funniest quotes hahaha but you guys have already cleared that part up for me I see:). And how Andy farted so many times and how he peed in the pool was a total crackup lmao!!!! Great movie! no problem at all except Jackson's characters maybe be a little overtouched but other than that I think they're all great!

Rough life by boring days I mean melting ur face.
