What use is hand-to-hand combat to world leaders in an international crisis?

Who WRITES this shit?! When the shit hits the international fan, world leaders are calling on nuclear weapons, submarines, jet aircraft, biological warfare. They don’t give a shit about hand-to-hand. So Douglas was gonna sell world leaders his hand-to-hand tech—which can be defeated by breaking the cheesy sunglasses on the user—for Big Bux?? And the leaders AGREED TO PAY?? Look, I know the target market for this thing was clueless 14 year-old boys (pardon the redundancy), but the motive the film offers is pathetically stupid and needs to be called out.

Having said that, I will watch any movie that has Natassia Maltha in it!
