ok first of i can safely say that this is by far the worst movie i have ever seen.
but why was the cast so hidious. i couldnt believe it, it was imposible to look at. i though america didnt make a movie unless it had an attractive cast.
but the only attractive poeple in the whole movie was sarahs friend in the begining, and the dude that tried to rape sarah.
and why was there like 15 people in the whole college. and dont get me started on how crapy the acting is.....im sorry but this movie really pissed me off, anyone who is mildy entertained by this is most definetly a goth.
see a real horror movie like The Amityville Horror or somthing with style and a hekitk story like pretty much anything done by the genious M. night Shyamalan.

Laura Mennell was spot on in this film. She is an amazing actress.

Her beautiful eyes and dark hair make this British Columbia beauty one of my favorites.

Some of the comments here are ridiculous.
I must correct most of you.

First of all, the lead actress was the only good looking human being in this movie (when she wasn't making stupid faces and pretending to "act")

Second, M. Night Shamalamadingdong is a horrible director, yes. But "Unbreakable" and "Signs" just so happen to be his two best movies.

Third, while this movie is certainly putrid and stinks of year-old trash juice, it is by far not one of the worst. Although it tries to be, but it even fails at that.

P.S. i should say the lead actress is pretty horrible, but the redhead spectre is beyond redemption.

hasn't seen enough movies if he thinks this one is in the worst category. Try Quantum Apocalypse for that category.

Also I don't understand his description of the cast as ugly.

Seth is very good looking; Jake is attractive; and one of the convicts was a muscular stud.

However, the technical characteristics of the film aren't very good. Often the actions are filmed in a vague and obscure way that makes the scene unclear.

The Amityville Horror remake sucked, but I do like the original because it's a cheesy-fun spook story.
I agree on this movie, it's a piece of raw sewage and I honestly didn't give a sh*t about any of the characters.

I kept thinking about what the hell was wrong with Seth. Literally every other female in the movie was hotter than the main character.

LOL, I just watched this movie after all this time, on Netflix.
If you lookup the main chick, Sara, on IMDB, you see her pic,
she is smoking hot, but if you look at her in this movie, she looks
like crap. I took a comparison and I found 2 main differences are
that she now plucks/waxs her caterpillar like eyebrows and her hair
is all perfect. In this movie she wasnt doing much in the way off
fixing herself up, I think that her first film was all Canadian,
and later she had to play to an American crowd. Those Canadians
must not mind their manly looking women, LMAO.

Oh, and, LMAO, the redhead girl looks like a man with a wig on, lol.
whoever the person on this thread who likes these girls the way they
are in this movie, I think they may be sporting the rainbow sticker
on their car, lol....
