Paul Kersey. No super powers, but badass. All he'd need is a gun.

Interesting how few classic film villains are represented here. It's as if the posters don't think movies were made before the year that they were born.

The list is obviously endless. These were just sickos kidnapping and torturing young girls for them most part.

Jason Bourne, The Terminator, The T-1000, The T-X in T-3, Bob Lee Swagger, The Transporter, Steven Seagal, Statham's Homefront character, Pretty much anyone from the Expendables, this list could go on for about 5 days.

reply

Leory Jethro Gibbs- NCIS (Former Marine Sniper & practically unkillable)

Sayid Jarrah- Lost (Trained soldier, a torturer & once snapped someone's neck with his hands tied behind his back)

Eric Draven- The Crow (Unstoppable & I don't think they would figure out to kill the crow)

John McClane- Die Hard (Also unkillable)

And last I agree with above everyone from the Expendables

Well first of all, I would stick with human characters who are more or less grounded in reality, so I would not even consider any robotic/supernatural character in that case because that is just not fair for me.

In terms of personal choices, I would probably say Hannibal Lecter could succeed in getting rid of them (from any of the movie or the excellent TV show version by Mads Mikkelsen). The Firefly family are a bunch of dangerous psychos, but they are not that intelligent or careful per se and I think Hannibal would probably manipulate them and toy with them before killing them. I also think a guy like Dexter Morgan would probably have the ability to outsmart the Firefly family and kill them, if not torturing them before even.

All that being said, though, like previous people wrote, The Unholy Two and Wyddell were perfectly able to get the upper hand on them and if it was not for Wyddell taking too much risk towards the end, he could have easily killed the whole Firefly family (well except for Tiny perhaps if he decided to hide) after torturing them even more. The thing is, despite his lashing out at the end, Wyddell remained a moral person with some principles and a strong sense of justice, however twisted it had become. But characters like Hannibal and Dexter would have an even better chance since they actually do have the capability of killing in cold blood, with absolutely no remorse, while avoiding capture expertly. They are psychopaths, like the Firefly family members are, but much more cunning and dangerous I believe.

Bill Foster: I'm the bad guy?...How did that happen?
