comics didn't feel totally true to the rest of the series

Some of the characters did things that didn't seem true to how I knew them. Especially Chianna.
Scorpuis is still chasing John and Aeryn? why? I am glad he was in the books but John no longer has wormhole knowledge. The Scarrans now have a truce with the Peacekeepers. I don't see why Scorpuis would break it.

John and Aeryn's son got special reality changing abilities from Aeryn? That doesn't make sense. John had the Wormhole knowledge. So why would Aeryn's DNA be giving their son he abilities. hat doesn't feel right.

Verlok is alive? What the Frell! I find it odd the peacekeepers would let him live when they charged him with treason. It makes no sense tha John and Aeryn find him alive in the comics.

The crew ive Siko another chance. Why? She berayed them to the Scarrans. How could hey ever trust her after that?

Finally there is Chianna
She has sex with both Jothee again and then with he very bounty huner hat is chasing John and Aeryn. again WHAT THE FRELL!!
She is suppose o be morning Dargo. So she does the thing that made Dargo breakup with her in the first place. That makes no sense. Then she has sex with he bounty hunter. Agian WHY? I know she is a slut or tralk but she always had a purpose for who she had sex with. her it felt like she is suppose to be a slut so we have to have her having sex with someone.

I did some asking around about the Chianna situation, and as some of the people I know have explained it to me, (as they understand it), is that you have to remember that Chianna has always had an extremely strong sex drive. There are actually a few parts in the series where she at the very least tries to have sex with someone for no reason other than sexual pleasure. Now in the case of the comics, again as it has been explained to me by others as they understand it, Chianna IS in mourning for D'argo, and the only way she knows how to cope with that pain is to block it out with sexual pleasure.

Still she is having sex with someone that caused some previous pain with Dargo, Jothee. I understand there was no one else for her to have sex with at the time but it just seemed lke it would create more pain than lessen it.

Maybe because Jothee is D'argo's son, Chiana feels that Jothee is the only link she has left to D'argo. Chiana has always been a bit of an oddball, so perhaps in her mind since she can't have D'argo anymore she may as well get the next best thing. Perhaps the only way for her to still feel close to D'argo is to be with his son.

Then again I have never read the comics, so I don't know how the characters are portrayed in them. I have heard from a number of people that the characters in the comics are nothing like what they were like in the television show.

It sucks that the show never got that 5th season they were aiming for. :(

It's been ages since I read this, but not feeling in line with the show is exactly what I didn't like about them.

I hated that they brought back Sikozu in the comics. She died and was always a terrible person. So they bring her back to redeem her? Get out of my face. She was always a horrible person, then I'm suddenly supposed to pity her? Nope.

Then it pulled some pretty bad sci fi tropes. This new race no one ever heard of - the Kkore - appears and no one is a match for them. Their bigger, stronger, smarter than everyone, and their tech dwarfs everyone else. I did not like those comics and don't consider then canon.
