Hello !
I saw this movie yesterday and I am shocked ! I live in Poland in Eurpoe. It is very, very catolic country. In my country 14 years old girls, who are 'after first time' are treatment like - sorry for this word - like a bit ... !!! It is unthinkable what you doing there in America ! Children having sex and don't are ashamed of this ! In my country children beetwen 13-16 years old ashamed of parents, teachers, neighbours and some friends if they have a boyfriend or girlfriend ! Even if they kissing - they are very shame. But in your country it is a normal. This is sick country. Your country is habitat of evil !!!

It's fictional. It's just a movie. Everywhere has places like that, even Poland I'm sure.

i am from poland and teens are not ashamed to have boyfriends/girlfriends but i know that the girls dont really lose their virginity untill they are around 17-19 years old unlike where i live here in america my friends and i all lost our virginity 13-16 years old... obviously teens do the same thing all over the world ...i just think in america we try to shelter teens from drinking, and sex so much that they do it more because its such a taboo.

Yeah, I'm from Poland and that first post makes no sense to me honestly, it's a poor provocation. Poland is a catholic country but it doesn't make a difference for teenagers who do have sex, use contraception etc. Maybe the initiation age is higher that for example in USA but it doesnt change the fact that some girls have sex in young age, people talk about sex and nobody is surprised when people kiss in public so don't listen to faroe's *beep* And just because the movie takes place in USA doesn't change the fact that it can happen everywhere.

how can you say one culture is better than another when it comes to different situations? can't really right and wrong things because you don't agree with it. or base an entire race of people as having the same thoughts.

just cause a film depicts young adults having sex at an early age doesnt mean everybody in america is like that. so dont base facts on one film.

Personally, I'm ashamed of how people from my country (USA) have responded. You REALLY think that it's just "whatever" to lose your virginity? You think I'm "prudish" because I'm 13 and the idea of having sex at my age isn't right? Are you calling my entire religioun wrong just because you think that sex is okay to have before marriage? People have different beliefs.

Atleast the guy who posted this thread is just talking about what he thinks of America instead of like, killing people for it. (9/11)

hahahaha funny. im a polish guy living in australia yea. lol the chick from the original post is sooo naive. whenever my mates come back from poland haha all i hear about is the crazy sex stories. faroe must live in a little village under a rock. no idea

Not that it matters, I just thought I would point out that the movie was filmed in Canada and that about half the actors are Canadian. It was actually filmed in my high school and I can say that our school is nothing like that. I don't know anybody who has had 30 - 50 sex partners. Most people I know who are having sex have had probably 5 max. Also, I've never been to a high school party in my life where there have been people watching porn and having group orgy's all over the house. This film over exaggerates on a lot of things.
