.............spike would have the script make them get excited about seeing a man's penis? When jack stripped and the lesbians were all looking at him, they were saying "i'll pay for that!!!" that is COMPLETELY unrealistic. he could have played that scene differently, maybe had the lesbians saying things like...

"I guess that'll have to do" or "I've seen bigger" or even "is it supposed to look like that?"

my point is, it's unrealistic for women who are supposed to be lesbians to become sexually aroused by seeing a man naked

I didn't get the impression that the women were aroused I think they were excited because they figured "with a tool that big, he had better be able to get me pregnant!"

Spike Lee has lost his freakin' mind with this movie. I watched the extras and he had some so-called lesbian consultant. I don't know what kind of lesbian she was, but I didn't buy that these women who were supposed to be gay were so eager to have sex with a man, even to get pregnant. I don't think this movie would portray gay men enjoying sex with women. I think Spike and most men just can't accept that there are women who just don't want or enjoy sex with men. I guess because men usually experience orgasm and a lot of women don't, they think sex is always good with them. Whatever.

but seriously, I found some of the sequence to be rather far fetched myself.

I mean, Fatima I can understand. She's had history with Jack. She's noted that she's "likes pussy too", which implies she's bi. Fair enough, I can imagine her enjoying sex with Jack. (Though, from a fidelity stand point, I have no idea how she thinks this is acceptable to her partner)

the other 17 women? Well, the circumstances I can sort of understand. They know jack's history (presumably from Fatima), and they've tried everything else. It's starting to stretch reality a little, but I can sort of understand. (Self-selection, if you will)

However, all of them suddenly acting like they're just gagging for his ALL MIGHTY tool? Well, call me crazy, but I don't buy it. And then throwing on Alex being the only one who COULDN'T get pregnant cuz she didn't get a ride on the magic cock train, well... that's pretty patronizing.

I think the point of the ending is to challenge what is "accepted" behavior for Heterosexual, Homosexual and Bisexual people.

I think the film also meant to challenge the prevailing ideas regarding what a "real family" is supposed to look like, and what is acceptable.

It also meant to provoke a serious discussion about how we should define what "sex" really is, and its place in society.

The film goes against the grain of almost everything people feel "Would never happen" to show that the word "never" can not applied to every human beings behavior on this planet.

Simply put this was created by a straight male. Many(not all of) men dream of watching lesbian sex or joining them. Some even assume that lesbians are actually bi-sexual. When they finally admit that some women just are romantically and sexually interested in women, they assume is because she hates men and is a feminist. Essentially, it is a sexist mentality.
