I watched this movie and I hated it because there is no the pink panther as cartoon. Stupid diamond! I thought this movie like Garfield the movie, The Smurts and Underdog.
Why not it called "The Pink Diamond"? That's better title

Also, there absolutely _IS_ "Pink Panther as a cartoon" in the opening credits - sadly, it's just as bland, boring and predictable as the rest of this movie, can't even be compared to the old movies' intro cartoons, which are BRILLIANT (in more ways than one).
Cuz it's a remake of a Peter Sellers classic about the Pink Panther diamond. The animal does indeed appear in the opening credits. I don't care if I was trolled.

Well, in fact, 'trawling' or 'trolling' has to do with fishing, and it's generally done to a big group of people, so you 'troll' that group in order to catch as many angry, shocked comments (the fish) as possible, by baiting them with an 'extraordinarily provocative statement that no one would SERIOUSLY ever say or think'.
So it's not that you were 'trolled', it's more like we ALL were trolled, but you were the only fish in the net.
