I truly love this show but...


I also HATE how they set up the myths by telling the other co workers about it.
Like it being a reality tv or something.
Again, I love everything else about it but every time they talk about what they are about to do as if it's news, always makes me cringe so hard.
I just don't understand why because later in the episode they break the myth down into further details (for the audience!) which works perfectly!
And that just makes me more confused why they had to make that horrible skit in the beginning at all!
At first I thought that it was something that you get used to in the long run, and that might be the case for a lot of people, but I've watched almost all seasons now and it still makes me cringe so hard.

I don't expect any answers for this or anything but I just had to get this off my chest because despite how much I like the show, that crap still always gets to me during every episode.

If they had only talked to us, the audience, I'd say this show is flawless as a production.

yet it was scripted and rehearsed. They seem to have forgotten these people aren't actors...

"He's dusted, busted and disgusted, but he's ok"

It's called "padding the show so it will fit the allotted 1-hour w/commercials airtime".
